The Ken Boothe song reminded me of a kickass compilation I’ve got and haven’t listened to in years: Darker Than Blue: Soul from Jamdown (http://www.amazon.com/Darker-Than-Blue-Jamdown-1973-1980/dp/B00005LEW1) It might interest you.
Matt – exactly the album it’s from ! So good.
My buddy Ed (@edfladung on twitter) has said there’s a bunch more of his (Boothe) albums that are well worth getting.
Yeah, he’s done some great songs. I also have a compilation of his hits called A Man and His Hits (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:jpfoxqtkldje).
I highly recommend it.
