I bought myself a digital download of “Fin” from thesurfnetwork.com.

A very fun movie; but I’ve learnt that I just can’t handle the sickly sweet narration of Wingnut. I don’t think he’s totally at fault; but whoever wrote that script for him should be banished to the land of Warren Miller ski movies.

Otherwise the surfing was great; the movie looked fantastic playing from my MacBook Pro to our TV, and the whole digital download process solid, amazing & fast.

Couple stats: Took about 10-15 minutes to download, file-size 620 meg, 53 mins, 640×352 res, H.264 & AAC compression, Bit rate @ 1588.
