Montréal on a Sunday night
April 21st, 2008 · No Comments
Last night was a beautiful Sunday night in Montreal.
We took a walk up St. Laurent, across St. Joseph and down St Denis back to Roy (map).
Peered into a 100 windows, window shopped some modern furniture and generally admired the city we live in. We took some snaps.

Update: Week 13 of Yoga
April 15th, 2008 · 6 Comments
Well well well… here we are at week 13! Can you believe it? Not quite sure but that’s about 50 yoga full sessions.
Back at week 4; (http://www.stevey.com/2008/02/10/update-week-4-of-yoga/) I was really starting to feel the results of it.
I was still sweating like crazy by the end of each session (not that I’m that much better [...]

Great time lapse work by Ross Ching
April 6th, 2008 · No Comments
Came across this time lapse video by Ross Ching…
“…links directly to a QuickTime movie (17.6MB). A series of time lapse sequences edited together into one short film. Rather unique in that the camera pans (& tilts) during the time-lapses. Nicely done.”

Lovely concept; I would actually love this for 5 or 6 of my favorite books (they aren’t religious texts).
“5,084,000,000 people 5,360 pages 3,700 years 243 countries 7 books 1 shelf.”
San Francisco designers Mike & Maaike have created JUXTAPOSED:Religion, the first in a series of Juxtaposed curated bookshelves .
“For the first time, the world’s most [...]

Ansel Adams Quote
March 18th, 2008 · 1 Comment
I enjoy this quote about Adams views on the dark room and post processing;
“The (photographic) negative is the equivalent of the composers score… and the print is the equivalent of the conductors performance.” — Ansel Adams

Diggin’ the artwork of Robert R. Abeyta, Jr.
“Working on a larger series…
of these paintings, The Tianguis, Mexico City for an upcoming show. I want paintings clear, simple, veiled with complexity.

A glass on my desk
February 25th, 2008 · No Comments
I have always thought of this as my first insight in a GTD approach to work; It’s worth going back and reading “Time Management: The Pickle Jar Theory” from 2002,
“Each of us has many large priorities in our life, represented by the large rocks. We also have things which we enjoy doing, such as the [...]
