Hi Dan,

The factory stitch seemed to use a different kind of thread and in a pattern I couldn’t replicate by hand. This stitch has held.

How come you didn’t try to replicate the factory stitch by hand? Is it too difficult? Or just not worth the hassle? I was thinking that the factory stitch might have more flexibility in it, or something…?

The dog is such a tragic figure, it didn´t have to be sent in space and die. One of the scientist that workwd on the project in 1998 said: “Work with animals is a source of suffering to all of us. We treat them like babies who cannot speak. The more time passes, the more I’m sorry about it. We did not learn enough from the mission to justify the death of the dog”.
This is a really good picture, makes me feel bad :(

if they were to clean up these bowls/”retention basins” the city would never have to build another skate-park again.

Brings back great memories! 1974 to 1977. Hollywood hills between the 405 and the 101. i cant quite place this one, however, it fully captures the feel of the era!
