Gus Van Sant’s ‘Paranoid Park‘ is looking like it might have some potential. So many movies ‘do skating’ badly and miss the reason/feeling/culture of skateboarders, when trying to use it as a story base.

The film follows a skateboarding teen in Portland who visits ‘Paranoid Park’ (aka Burnside) and gets wrapped up in the death of a train security guard. Yes, Burnside is featured in the trailer.
